I am Lanie Fox! I am so glad you are here! I am a 40 something mom of two adult daughters and two crazy fur babies living our Florida dream after relocating from Utah with my recently retired parents.
I am navigating and growing in a new chapter of being mostly an empty nester! Life with Lanie Fox is my little corner of the internet where I will share my real-life moments, a little sunshine,and all the beautifully chaotic in between.
I love getting the family together for a good old fashioned Sunday dinner and including a movie, fun craft or game night!
I started this blog as a way to capture the stories, struggles, and sweet spots of life as it really is – sometimes messy, often meaningful, and always mine.
Whether I am writing about our latest Florida adventure, a new semi homemade meal that saved dinner, or the joy of finding peace in the everyday, my hope is that something here makes you feel connected & encouraged to get out and enjoy all the precious moments!

Whether it is packing up the beach chairs and heading to a crowded tourist beach or finding a hidden gem and floating down one of the many beautiful springs on a kayak. Florida has so much beauty and history to explore!
